On October 12th of last year, I received an email that made me fall to my knees and clench my chest for dear life. 😰
Holy flippers, what is happening?
I received an email from one of my professors who is also a world-renown sports scientist. He's coached over 30 world and Olympic medalists. Plus, he's published several groundbreaking research in the strength and conditioning field.
He emailed about referring a youth powerlifter for me to coach.
I had to slap myself a few times to ensure I wasn't in chicken nugget heaven.
I haven't talked to my instructor in several months. I thought he had forgotten my name by now. Not only did he remember me but also knew I was a powerlifting coach.
I wanted to share this story with you because this reminded me of an important lesson.
You never know who keeps you top of mind and wants to help you, even if you haven't talked to them in a few months.
My Favourite Resource | Lesson This Week
My grandfather passed away over 24 years ago.
To this day, not a single person has said a negative thing about him. I only hear about how kind he was.
Now, that's something I hope to achieve when I leave this world.
Have a jolly weekend,
Christine
P.S. I’ve removed the ‘Build in Public’ section because I’m be using the main body of the email to share updates instead.
