Imagine your face plastered on a million-dollar bill.
Wouldn't that feel pretty great? 🤩
I've been chatting with many of my entrepreneur friends this past month. Many of them were in a slump (I blame the hot waves around the world🤮).
Some were seeing a drop in sales or generating fewer leads.
Meanwhile, others struggled with getting clients and building their brand on Twitter.
So, I thought about creating million-dollar bills with my friend's faces to remind them that I'm rooting for them.
The idea came from the Email List Management course I'm taking. I was learning about cold emailing with a $100 bill of our potential client's face.
Instead of cold emailing with $100 bills, I switched to $1,000,000 and sent jolly warm, supportive emails to friends instead.
Here's a copy of the email I sent to my friend, Jason and his response:
Creating million-dollar bills for friends only took an hour out of my day but helped brighten their mood. 🤗
Building in Public
I’ve completed the content for the Email List Management course I’m taking. Now, I’m focusing on applying the concepts and getting ready for the test.
Also, if anyone knows of a newsletter with spam problems, please let me know. I would love to help them out and gain extra practice.
My Favourite Resource | Lesson This Week
My copy chief and I have been working on improving the first lines I write in emails to better hook readers in.
I came across great advice from Jerrod Harlan:
The first line should be like a really powerful bullet. A really good bullet does a lot of things all at once:
● Benefit
● Curiosity
● Pain/emotion
Your first line should do the same. If you want to get good at writing first lines, get good at writing bullets
Catch ya next week. 😎
