Personal Brand = A + B
Once you know A and B, everything starts to click.
I've noticed immense growth on Twitter. Yes, followers and likes. But more importantly, engagement and genuine connections.
Plus, content creation no longer feels like throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks 🍝
I'd like to thank Jessie Van Breugel who taught me this simple formula in his course, From Consumer to Creator. We also explored the depths and breadths of how to build a personal brand. From content creation to building landing pages and selling products on Gumroad.
And before the course started, Jessie hopped on an assessment call with every student. He asked us two questions:
1) What's something that makes you unique?
For me, that's being a strength coach turned writer who has always struggled with writing.
2) What problem do you want to solve?
I want to help writers and freelancers on Twitter feel less alone in their journey.
Boom! My north star to building a personal brand 🌟
So to recap, the simple formula is:
Your Uniqueness + Problem You Want to Solve = Personal Brand
I'm not a brand strategist. But I wanted to share this simple formula with you incase you feel stuck. Cause I've been stuck for 12+ months trying to figure out what my personal brand is.
I hope this helps, friends 🤗
And if there's anything I can help you with, feel free to reply to this email. I will 113% be sure to respond.
