2022 Build in Public: Q1 Review
Holy flippers, we're almost done with the first three months of 2022 😱
To reflect on the past three months, I'm going to review my 60-30-10 projects:
60% - Copywriting
Wrapping up Week 8 of 12 in Lukas Resheske's mentorship. I've gained a quantum leap of confidence with my copywriting skills. Like failing my lead assignment to nailing my lead in my sales page homework.
(Last week, my homework was to write a nine-page sales page in 1.5 hours, including research. The experience was intense. I'll share more next week🤪)
30% - Web Development Coding ➡️ Personal Brand
Since starting Lukas' mentorship, I've put this project on the back burner. But my jolly good friend Mattia is helping me self host my Ghost site. So I know I'll return to this project later.
But for now, I'm using the time to interact and build a personal brand on Twitter.
10% - Secret Project
I've been working on this project for a couple of months now with a few good friends. This has been a passion project that I've been dreaming about doing for years. I can't wait to share in a couple of months 🤗
Aside from these projects, I hit my Twitter follower and email subscriber goals (thank you 🙏). Which made me realize, I don't want to make these follower/subscriber goals anymore.
Achieving these goals didn't make me any happier. Nor did they help me progress with my long term goals. So instead, I'm spending more time building genuine connections.
Now, I wanna hear from you. How's the first quarter of 2022 treating ya?
